Building Element Info - Structural Data

Used to view structural data and coping information for structural physical members. Structural data is editable.

Note: This tab is only available when Structural discipline data is present for the selected element.

Setting	Description
Data	Show Fillets — If on, fillets are constructed between flange and web surfaces when the structural member is placed. Mark — Displays the identification mark for the structural component, such as B-1 for example. Type — Displays the type of structural component, such as Beam or Spread (footing) for example. Type sets the element that exported to a CIS/2 file. All other elements are exported as "UNDEFINED". Material — Displays the type of material for the structural component, such as Steel for example. Grade — Displays the grade for the structural component, such as A36 for example. Status — Displays the status for the structural component, such as New for example. User1 — Displays user defined variable 1 for the structural component. User2 — Displays user defined variable 2 for the structural component. User3 — Displays user defined variable 3 for the structural component. User4 — Displays user defined variable 4 for the structural component. Class — Displays the class for the structural component, such as Primary for example. End1 Action — Displays end 1 action for the structural component, such as 12.0 K for example. End2 Action — Displays end 2 action for the structural component, such as 14.0 K for example. End1 Detail — Displays end 1 detail for the structural component, such as Type I for example. End2 Detail — Displays end 2 detail for the structural component, such as Type II for example.
Cope/Trim Info group box	Flange Clearance — Displays the clearance space between steel member flanges when coping takes place. Web Clearance — Displays the clearance space between steel member webs when coping takes place. Inside Corner Treatment — Displays the inside corner treatment to squared off, rounded radius, or squared off corner with notch. This field is view only. Use modify commands to change the setting. Radius — Displays the radius size of the inside corner treatment. CAUTION: Attempts to modify the view only options open an Information dialog stating "Cannot edit this field from this Information tool. Use Modify commands to change this setting.". You must click OK to continue.
